Eric Possehl is in his first year as the 7-12 Instrumental Music Teacher in Somerset, WI.  He is a graduate of UW-River Falls, where he studied education and saxophone under Dr. David Milne. Prior to teaching in Somerset, Eric taught in the St. Croix Falls School District for three years.​
 

Eric Possehl has performed throughout the USA, and on tours to Asia, as an artist and clinician.  As a Saxophonist, Eric has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, After Hours Big Band, Minnesota State Jazz Orchestra, Phipps Center for the Arts, Bob Mintzer, and Lars Jansson.  Eric was also a member of several National Collegiete Honors, where he performed at Carnigie Hall, Lincoln Center, and several other locations.

In addition to teaching at Somerset, Eric is the Contemporary Music Director of Bethel Lutheran Church in Hudson, WI where he directs the New Song worship band, Children's Handbell Choir, and Children's Chime Choir.  In his free time Eric enjoys fishing, sports, and spending time with his wife Kathryn.
